Introduction
The International Fisheries and Aquatic Research Congress is one of the most important international congresses in the field of fisheries and aquaculture. The first eight have been held in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 on Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Nevşehir and Istanbul (Turkey), Tehran (Iran), Penang (Malaysia), Gorgan and Karaj (Iran), and Ankara (Turkey), respectively. The Ninth one will be held in United Arab Emirates.
